Help Gaiam Real Goods Eliminate One Billion Pounds of CO2 by 2010

Our parent company, Gaiam, has launched an ambitious goal to eliminate by 2010 the production of one billion pounds of CO2 that would otherwise go into the atmosphere and contribute to global warming. In 1990, Real Goods set a goal to eliminate the production of one billion pounds of CO2 through customer purchases by the end of the decade (2000). Thanks to our customers, we achieved that goal three years ahead of schedule. Now, our more ambitious goal will be monitored quarterly as we try to make a small, but significant, contribution to helping mitigate global climate change. Our first step is to audit everything we do as a company, neutralize our carbon footprint, and then measure the effects of customer purchases toward our goal.
