When you choose gifts for those you love, why not take a stand against sweatshops, child labor and poverty in developing nations at the same time?

In this catalog you’ll find many handcrafted gifts that we’ve sourced from fair-trade organizations. Look for our new fair-trade symbol for products from companies that have committed to fair artisan wages in the local context as a core part of their mission. Many are also members of the Fair Trade Federation or of the International Federation of Alternative Trade — organizations that support living wages and safe, healthy working conditions in developing countries. This helps ensure that the gifts you buy come from artisans who are, in fact, treated fairly. Fair trade organizations generally pay 15-30 percent of the retail product price to the artisans.
