Shipping InformationOversized Shipping: Certain items require additional oversized shipping charges to the rates above. These items and costs are indicated by a dollar amount in parenthesis next to the product price. Example: Widget $199 ($20). In this case, the shipping charge for the Widget will be the appropriate amount in the shipping table plus $20. Set shipping cost: Certain items cost a flat rate to ship. This will be indicated in text in the SHIPPING tab on the product page. If there is a set shipping rate, you do not add the amount to the chart above.
Free Shipping Promotions: Offer applies to Standard shipping within the contiguous USA only. Additional oversized shipping charges will still apply on applicable products. Delivery time to Alaska, Hawaii and the U.S. Territories: We normally ship our packages to these destinations via USPS Priority mail which is 7 to 10 business days. We also offer Fed Ex ground, Fed Ex 2nd day and FedEx overnight. However, these options will normally take a day or two longer than the name implies. For orders shipping to HI, AK, U.S. Territories or U.S. military Installations shipping rates will vary. Real Goods Customer Service will contact those that ship to these locations, Monday - Friday, to provide a shipping quote for approval (or you may call (800) 919-2400).
Delivery time to an APO/FPO address: Please allow 2-3 weeks to receive a shipment to an APO or FPO address.
Items for delivery outside of the U.S.: We ship to all 50 US states, as well as US territories, APO and FPO addresses. We also ship to Canada (not online, however, you must call (800) 919-2400). At this time, we cannot ship to international addresses outside of the US and Canada.
How will my order be packaged: In keeping with our mission to clean up the planet, we reuse boxes and packing materials that come into our warehouse and use new boxes and mailing envelopes made of up to 100% recycled material. We use clean waste paper collected from local sources and 100% natural, corn-based, biodegradable "peanuts" to help protect your order during shipping.
Multiple Ship-to's:For multiple shipping addresses, a separate shipping and handling charge will be assessed based on the product total to each address.
Shipping & Rates: RealGoods.com ships to addresses in the 50 States, U.S. Territories and U.S. military installations. Shipments within the 48 contiguous states, AK, HI, U.S. Territories and U.S. military installations may be shipped by a variety of carriers, shipping rates will vary. U.S. Mail is our primary shipper but RealGoods.com may use alternate ground shipping methods for oversized items. Orders shipped to P.O. Boxes will ship via U.S. Mail. FedEx Service: As an alternative shipping method, FedEx Ground delivery is available for an additional $5.00 added to standard delivery charges. If you are interested in next day delivery, please call (800) 919-2400 to place your order. Certain restrictions apply.
FedEx 2 Day orders of in-stock items shipping within the 48 contiguous United States will be shipped the following business day and will arrive within 2 business days after being shipped (excludes weekends and holidays).
Some items cannot be shipped via Fed Ex 2 Day (air) service.
