The Worm Factory is a worm composter made in the U.S.A. from 100% post consumer recycled plastic. You can easily compost outdoors and now indoors, too. Simply fill the stacking trays with organic kitchen scraps and worms will begin to migrate upward through the trays as they break down the material. What is left is light, nutrient rich compost. Can house 8,000-12,000 worms that consume 5 to 8 lbs. of food per week. Odor-free so it's perfect for your apartment, kitchen, porch or garage. Once you've completes the Worm Factory's simple one step assembly, add a handful of earthworms to the bottom tray with your organic waste. When the tray is full, just add another and your worms will crawl from the bottom tray through to as many as eight trays high. Concentrated, nutrient-rich moisture drains to the bottom where it becomes a potent liquid fertilizer that can be drained from the attached spigot. The breathable design allows air to circulate, helping to keep your Worm Factory compost bin odor-free for indoor or outdoor use.
