PETT™ Portable Environmental Toilet
Used by the Forest Service, National Park Service, FEMA, and the UN, the PETT compact dry toilet system provides an odorless method for packing out and disposing of both liquid and solid human waste. Special biodegradable waste bags contain a bioactive non-toxic powder that gels the waste, neutralizes odors, and initiates the decay process. Bags are double layer, puncture resistant with zip closure, and meet EPA Group II standards for disposal with conventional trash. Each bag will do 4 to 6 uses. Waste Bags include gelling powder, toilet paper, and hand sanitizer wipes. An optional Bottom Cover completely encloses the toilet when folded. The Portable Utility Pop-up (PUP) Tent is gray, flame-retardant, stands 6' 6" tall, measures 4' x 4' at the base, with a zip up door, three windows with screens, storage pocket, fiberglass poles and stuff sack. A Backpack system carries the PETT toilet, spare bags, the PUP tent, and accessories, with an outside compartment for packing out used bags. The complete PETT System package includes toilet, 15 bags, tent, and backpack. Made in USA.
The PETT Portable Toilet is standard height and seat size, supports up to 600 lbs., and folds to 19" x 14" x 5" briefcase size for travel.
