Sunny Boy 6000U Intertie Inverter

The direct-intertie Sunny Boy series is a third-generation design. These are high-voltage input inverters that use series-strings of PV modules. This eliminates the need for large wire and greatly eases long-distance Sunnv Bov 2500 transmission. Maximum power point tracking delivers the highest possible wattage under all conditions. All Sunny Boy inverters feature powder-coated, stainless steel, outdoor-rated NEMA 4 cases that can be mounted inside or outside, and will deliver full-power operation at temperatures up to 60°C 140°F. Ground-fault protection is built into each inverter, and five-year warranties are standard.

Sunny Boy offers several closely related models at 700, 1,100, 1,800 and 2,500 (pictured) watts. All models feature the best of high-quality German engineering. High-efficiency, redundant processors, easy data communications, maximum power point tracking, an excellent reliability record, and powder-coated, stainless steel, outdoor-rated boxes are only a few of the quality design features.
