The gas-fired Takagi tankless water heaters feature electronic ignition, powered ventilation, computer-modulated gas flame for steady output temperatures and the industry's best energy factor of 0.84. Both models can be used with solar preheated incoming water — only adding additional heat as needed to meet your set output temperature. All waterways are non-corrosive copper or brass, burners are stainless steel, and the cabinet is powder-coated for long life. Automatic freeze protection will protect down to 5°F with no wind don't tempt fate. Water, gas and electrical connections are on the lower left as you face the heater. We supply wall mounting brackets and P/T relief valve. The optional remote control allows greater temperature control, and displays any self-diagnosing error codes if a problem develops. The stainless wall vent terminator is recommended for horizontal vents. The backflow prevention kit is required for hard-freezing climates. Vent can be run up to 35', vertically or horizontally with a 5' reduction for every elbow. Maximum of 3 elbows. AGA-approved. Mfg. warranted for 7 years on heat exchanger, 2 years on all else. Japan.
