Empire Direct-Vent Heaters

Direct-venting makes these gas heaters safe and efficient for bedrooms, bathrooms, other closed rooms, or airtight homes. The entire combustion chamber is sealed off from inside air. Outside air is used for combustion, so there's no chance of combustion byproducts in your living space, no oxygen depletion, or wasting of already heated air. Most of these heaters must mount on an outside wall as intake and exhaust go out the back.

The slim, attractive, tan Euro-styled MV-series seems to float a couple inches off the wall with safe, pleasant radiant heat output. The thermostat modulates the gas flame for steady heat output with no fans or noise. Intake and exhaust are straight out the rear through a single double-wall pipe. Mounts to any wall 4.5" to 12" thick. Optional extensions to 18" wall thickness are available. Minimum clearances: floor 4.75", sides 4", back 0", top 36". AGA and CGA approved.
