The Heliodyne Cool Climate Packaged System is designed to operate in all regions, especially where hard water or freezing is an issue. In this closed loop design, a special heat transfer fluid circulates through the collectors instead of water, allowing greater durability and trouble-free operation. Available in Flush or Rack mount.
The Premium Package includes an upgraded heat transfer appliance which allows you to see how well the system is performing, as well as to make adjustments and change settings. Also included is a Wi-Fi hub allowing you to access your system remotely from any computer in your home.

HOW IT WORKS When there is sufficient heat to be drawn from the collectors, the controller automatically activates the pumps. Heated solar fluid is then circulated from the collectors, through the heat exchanger, where its heat is transferred to water in the storage tank. The solar liquid is then pumped back to the collectors to once again be reheated. This circulation loop will continue as long as there is heat to be drawn from the collectors. During times when there is little or no sun, a backup heating system will be activated to provide adequate hot water.

Flush Mount vs. Rack Mount Collector mounting is now a simple, trouble-free experience thanks to the pre-configured mounting hardware packages. Each package includes all necessary hardware component kits, along with simple-to-follow instructions to ensure proper installation. The packages range in size & type to accommodate either flush- or rack-mount arrays from 1 to 8 collectors.
