The most advanced and adaptable inverters available — now with UL1741 listing for utility intertie! OutBack has introduced several new models and increased the power output of their incredibly clean and efficient sine wave FX-series inverters in the past year.
The FX is available either in vented models for protected, indoor installations, or in sealed models for installation in marine, jungle, bug-infested or other challenging sites. The vented models cost a bit less per watt, and are going to be the choice for most folks. But if corrosion, moisture or critters are a problem where you live, make your life problem-free with a sealed unit.
OutBack inverters deliver a very clean sine wave power with strong surge abilities up to 50 amps on all models. A built-in 60-amp transfer switch with automatic battery charging takes over whenever an outside power source such as a generator or utility power is available. The optional Mate allows adjustment of battery charging and other operations, but it’s not required for daily operation. Any custom programming is retained even without battery power. (Yea! No more lost programming!)
Multiple inverters can be connected for 120-, 240- or even 3-phase 208-volt AC output. Multiple inverter stacks do require the Mate. All OutBack inverter installations will require additional parts for mounting and overcurrent protection. Call for assistance. Inverters listed below are North American standard 120v/60hz output. Export models with 230v/50hz output are available by special order, same pricing.
All inverters are 16.25"L x 8.25"W x 11.5"H and weigh 60 to 62 lbs.
