Mighty Mule Solar Gate Opener
The Mighty Mule gate openers are designed for home, ranch, or farm use on single or dual swing gates up to 16 ft. in length, or weighing up to 350 lb. per leaf. These medium-duty openers work on chain link, farm, or smaller wrought iron gates, and are designed for do-it-yourself installation with a provided video.
Powered by a maintenance-free 12v battery that’s immune to power outages, the battery can be charged by the included AC transformer, or by the optional solar panel with mounting arm. Closes automatically with adjustable 0-120 sec. delay. Std. kit includes: opener arm, AC transformer, 12v battery, control box, receiver with 10’ cable, mounting hardware, power cables, warning signs, installation manual & video, and 1 entry transmitter. The dual gate kit includes a 2nd opener arm and control cable.

Features include 60-second automatic closing and built-in obstruction sensing.
The Might Mule is powered by 120-volt AC with a step-down transformer. If you don’t have AC power available at the gate site, then you need the solar-panel option. All units come with one wireless remote transmitter so that you can open the gate without getting out of your car. Additional transmitters can be purchased. The controller will accept up to three inputs, radio transmitter, digital keypad, simple pushbutton, or any combination up to three.
The gears are all metal, not nylon or plastic. Even in high cycle applications the Mighty Mule will not overheat. For maximum stability and security you’ll need the optional Automatic Gate Lock. The horizontal lock is solenoid driven with a plated steel bolt lock and zinc plated steel housing. Solar panel mount not included. One-year mfr.’s warranty. USA.
