Sanyo HIT (Heterojunction with Intrinsic Thin layer) solar cells are hybrids of single crystalline silicon surrounded by ultrathin amorphous silicon layers. As a result, these Sanyo solar panels offer high-performance cell and module efficiency. With up to 16.2 watts per square foot (17.4% module efficiency), you obtain maximum power within a fixed amount of space, save money by using fewer support materials and wiring, and save time in installation. Another advantage to the HIT design is lower de-rating due to temperature. As temperatures rise, Sanyo HIT solar panels produce more electricity than conventional crystalline silicon solar panels at the same temperature. Ideal for grid-tie solar systems, areas with performance-based incentives, and areas that offer renewable energy credits. Lightweight (31 lb.) modules come with a 20-year mfg. warranty. USA/Mexico.
