Harris Hydro Turbines are available with one, two or four nozzles to maximize the output of the unit. Nozzles beyond the first one are equipped with ball valves for easy control. Having an extra nozzle or two beyond what is absolutely required makes it easy to change flow rates or power output for seasonal or household variations. The individual brass nozzles are screwed in from the underside of the turbine. They do wear with time, and will need eventual replacement.
Nozzles come in 1/16" increments: from 1/8" nozzle size to 1/2" nozzle size. USA.
All hydro turbines are custom-built to match particular operating conditions. We need to know gallon per minute (gpm) flow rate, feet of head, pipeline diameter, type of pipe (penstock), the distance from the hydro turbine to the batteries and system voltage before ordering.
