HI-Power Hydro’s new low-voltage (LV) brushless Hydro Generators are ideal for people with battery-based renewable energy systems. They employ no adjustments and are more efficient than car alternator-type generators over a wider range of head and flow. Available in 12V, 24V, 48V or 96V battery-bank voltages. High-voltage (HV) hydro generators are ideal for sites where long distances separate water resources from your power’s destination, and for sites that have high flow rates or would be too much for a stream engine turbine. They feature transmission voltages of 120V, 240V or 480V (unregulated) AC. No additional breakers or fuses needed. For fl ows from 200-600 gpm, use Turgo wheel option with HV generator.
