Reduce or eliminate your monthly utility bills with wind power! The Skystream 3.7 turbine is the first all-inclusive wind generator with controls and inverter built in (no batteries are needed). Designed to provide quiet, clean electricity at very low wind speeds, Skystream 3.7 is rated at 1,800 watts and reaches this level of output when your wind speed reaches just over 22 mph (10 m/s). Because it has an extremely low maximum rotor speed of 325 rpm, operation of the turbine is nearly sound-free, making Skystream ideal for residential homes and small businesses. In areas with an average wind speed of 12 mph, it can produce about 400 kWh per month. Assuming an installed cost (before any rebates or tax credits) of $9,000, you’ll produce power at $0.09/kWh that costs less than the retail rate of most utilities.
The Skystream 3.7 can be installed on a range of tower heights from 35' – 110'. The optional 35' freestanding (no guy wire) tower looks much like a standard light pole. Other options include a wireless remote display and USB converter that allows the display to connect to a PC. Five-year mfg. warranty. USA.
